they are golf cart dealer and have just taken on the GEM car line... they have a large inventory of carts and at the time had an e4 GEM car.. met a salesman.. the service people were making a delivery.. have bought a part for my GEM car before.. everyone was friendly and helpful..
I recently requested Colorado Golf and Turf's mobile service to perform a complete spring inspection and service on my golf cart. Unfortunately, during the first round of golf following the service, my cart died on the 16th hole. Upon towing it to my garage, I found that the battery cells were dry. My mechanic friend and I added 3 gallons of distilled water (1/2 gallon per battery). Having been in the service person’s shoes, I always come into this type of conversation with a non-threating, open mind as things can and do happen in the mechanical world and this can be a moment to build a connection with the customer for future business. However, when I reported the issue, the service manager was short and not interested in hearing my story, and stated they do not check batteries, which was surprising since the work order listed "check connections and acid levels in batteries." Having managed a successful automotive repair shop for 26 years, I would have handled the situation, communication and customer experience very differently.
