Leann took my order and she had full knowledge of all their lines and accessories. Her communication was great from the order placement to delivery was much appreciated. I had a terrible experience with Palmetto Kustom Karts in Lexington, SC. I paid close to $700 for golf cart service, most of which was for labor, and they claimed to have fixed it and ran diagnostics. However, the cart was still not drivable. When I brought it back, they charged me for another diagnostic fee, claiming a carburetor issue they missed the first time. They were condescending, unreasonable, and refused to release my cart until I paid. I felt taken advantage of, especially as a woman. Their behavior seemed fraudulent, just trying to get more money out of me. Update:First, thank you for addressing my concerns and providing your input. However, I want to clarify a few points in response to your statement. 1. **Diagnostics and Labor Charges:** I never claimed that you didn’t perform the work. My issue lies with the fact that if a proper diagnostic had been done initially, the carburetor issue should have been caught. Despite paying $556 in labor and $124.91 for parts, I was charged an additional $139 diagnostic fee later for a problem that should have been discovered during the first inspection. 2. **Carburetor Issue:** I understand that issues can arise with carburetors due to old gas or debris. However, after you quoted $278 to clean it and mentioned an additional $400 to replace it if cleaning didn’t work, I decided to take it to another service provider. They offered to clean the carburetor for $100, which suggests that this issue could have been resolved more efficiently during my initial service. 3. **Communication and Treatment:** As for my preference to speak with the same person I had been dealing with, it wasn’t a matter of refusing help from your female staff members. I simply wanted continuity by speaking with the person who had been handling my cart throughout the process. I felt more comfortable with that individual, given their familiarity with the situation. It was never my intention to reject help based on gender. 4. **Summary:** My primary concern is that I spent $834.01 on service, yet the issue wasn’t fully resolved.
