Ok not gonna lie, it took some time to figure out the par 3 course due to limited signage but after that it is an enjoyable experience. Greens are well maintained and soft in Sept./Oct. when I experienced them. The driving range is an awesome experience. A little frustrating getting set-up if you are using Toptracer on their monitors bc weather seems to cause frequent outages overnight. Easily remedied after walking into the pro shop and asking to have it reset. Just feels like an extra step or two. The range uses real golf balls and has distanced targets (flags, greens, hazards) clearly marked with accurate distances. Highly highly recommend investing in using the TopTracer app for tracking your shots while at the range. I almost never, and this might actually be a first time for me to suggest something like that, however, the information provided is hugely valuable. If you want to smash balls, have a blast and smash balls. BUT if you want to learn how far each and every one of YOUR clubs goes with YOUR swing AND how consistent you are and the range of each club (like my 9iron usually goes 135-140 but every now and then 147... 12yds is a 36ft putt... or off the back of the green) ANNND the TopTracer games are amazing - closest to the pin, approach shots challenge, virtually play Pebble Beach etc etc etc, compete locally or 🌍 worldwide. (Pro tip: free before 9am 🤫) so worth it! This WILL absolutely shave strokes off your game by knowing exactly where and how you hit the ball. Knowing is half the battle. There is a pub with 🍻ice cold craft beers🍺 on tap and in cans, also food and snacks etc. Great service. Ask what time it is, you'll probably be answered with "It's 🎉 party time." TVs with sports on etc and a patio with umbrellas. Pro tip: you save $5 on a jumbo basket of range bells when you buy a 🍺. An easy way to pay it forward is to give it back as a $5 tip. Just saying. Played the 18 ⛳ course for the first time on a Saturday morning, most perfect golf weather ever, though I do like wind and light rain, this was 25⁰ no clouds 🌞, perfect Seattle weather. Steady play at a comfortable pace ~4.5hrs. Course is in great shape as I write this... approach shots sticking tightly to soft greens, ⛳ pins placed in slightly challenging/guarded spots with very puttable greens and fringe! Fairways are in good shape and provide consistent nice lies. Even missing the fairways usually still leaves a playable ball; might not have the best line with trees etc but it should be hittable. I will add that the par three course also has ⚽ soccer golf ⛳ which I didn't know was a thing.... and completely added to the confusion of which way to go or even which flag to aim at. First time through I was so confused on why I thought I was seeing two flags on the holes. But this activity looks so 😊 fun and absolutely a great way to share time with a kid or adult. Probably leads to more golfers later in life that may not have been interested as a kid. Cool concept for sure. Pitching green is around back and has a great sand trap to work out of it. It's over by the Lawn Club. Practice putting greens are out front and are well maintained and match the experience on both courses. Pro shop has your golf needs, friendly and knowledgeable service, and currently running a fall sale on hats. Snack shack at the turn has pizza, hot dogs, burritos, chips etc hard liquor in airplane bottles and tall boy beers. Cart was like $18. They do have some really cool remote robotic bag caddy thing for people who prefer to walk. Veterans can play at a reduced rate Mon-Fri.
Always Love Jefferson, the course is looking great this summer. It's a lovely city course that is great at twlight for the front 9. The club house has a solid beer selection and amazing kitchen. Check out their double decker driving range and short course par 3 as well.
Fantastic! Beautiful facilities and good prices!
