This was my first time ever in a Golf Galaxy, and, Thomas... he was incredible! It took me way too long to pick out a pair of shoes. He was knowledgeable, offered advice every step of the way, and I think I tried on 18 pairs of shoes. I run a retail operation nearby, Thomas, call me if you're looking for a change! He is the reason I will shop here from now on!!!
I had a driver club fitting with Thomas couple of weeks ago. Fantastic experience. He had me test about 5 or 6 different heads and numerous shaft combinations and I could tell he wants to get you that perfect one that fits your swing. He takes his time and checks ball spin and other data with these shaft /head combos and especially dispersion. After an hour plus, we found the right combo for me. about 30 yards longer that old driver and really good dispersion. It was special order with shaft and it was here within a week. I thank Thomas and Golf Galaxy. (Also just tried it on range today, Dead straight and long. QI10)
The absolute worst customer service. I was there to buy irons and had an appointment for a fitting. Checked in and the guy behind the counter said he would be right with me. When it came time for the fitting he was nowhere to be found. The manager was no help either. This is a much longer story but I think you get the idea. They lost my business. I will never go to golf Galaxy again.
