This is truly the best way to explore New Orleans. We did a 48 hour rental and really can't recommend it highly enough. Their service is super friendly and professional. They print their own custom maps of the city with all the best bike routes highlighted. The bikes are very sturdy, easy to ride, and come with easy locks that make quick stops a breeze.

I did the Creole crescent bike tour and it was great. Really nice to see some different areas and get away from the French Quarter for a while. The guide was a local and very knowledgeable. A good experience!!

My family had a fantastic experiences with American Bicycle Company. During our first visit we took the Creole tour and learned a lot of interesting facts about New Orleans from our charismatic, knowledgable tour guide. The logistics were easy and the comfortable bikes were perfect for getting around the streets of New Orleans. On our second visit, we opted to just rent bikes and take a self guided tour using the user-friendly maps from Ryan, the owner, which even our teenagers could understand. Ryan also shared a lot of interesting history and off-the-cuff anecdotes which made the trip even more enjoyable. Also talked about good lunch spot recommendations. (awesome po boys!!) On both occasions the bicycle tour of New Orleans was a highlight of our visit. By the way, the customer service was excellent. Ryan was available to meet us at the store and set us up on a moments notice due to the rainy season being especially rainy and unpredictable. Thank you, Ryan!!
