Golf Carts of St. Augustine

We purchased a Bintelli Beyond 6PR LSV from these clowns on April 22 2023. We originally went to look at used golf carts, We settled on a Star EV, was told it still had 1 year of warranty left put $1,000 down, I returned later finish the paper work, as we were filling paper workout he then decided to tell me it did not have any warranty left. I had called my wife and discussed the terms have changed because it no longer had a warranty. We asked what the out the door price was on the Bintelli, he told me the price, subtracted my $1000. I wrote the check for the remainder owed for the cart below. While the delivery guy shows up, they refused to unload the golf cart because they said I owed them another $1000. Even though we signed all the paper work, he said that I still owe him more money. Notice a trend here? I told him no, take the cart back, and I'll take my deposit back and put a stop payment on the check. They unloaded the cart, during the walk around we noticed it was damaged in several spots. The delivery guy was also the service manager. He promised that we would be taken care of. That night we took the golf cart for a nice ride, I had to pull the golfcart home because it started spewing smoke from under the seat, turns out during setup they did not tighten one of the battery cables completely. Because of this, to much resistance in a poor connection caused the terminal to glow red hot almost catching fire underneath my children. After I towed the cart home and found the issue, I cleaned and tightened the cable with a new nut. No issues anymore. The service manager called several times after delivery to let us know the part was on order. He called again and let us know the wrong part came in. We have now not heard from them and they will not return my calls. Horrible place to deal with. IMO they are money hungry, take your money and provide absolute ZERO customer service. I honestly no longer trust them to even change the cowl and repair the paint. I feel if they take my unit I will never get it back. As for the Bintelli Product. We are happy with the product, the cart runs smooth, works great. we have put over 500miles on the cart and it still works great.

I rarely post on reviews but thought that in these crazy times when customer service seems like a thing of the past I thought I would call out a great company. St Augustine Golf Carts-Bob and Casey (and crew) are fantastic people to work with from the initial sale to the customer service side of their business. I purchased a new golf cart at the start of the pandemic (that I completely love) and in just over a year I had 2 small warranty concerns that Bob addressed immediately. Both times he sent his driver to my home to get my cart, both times he repaired the warranty work and returned my cart within a day or two...at no cost to me. Before you buy your golf cart make sure to check out St Augustine Golf Carts...I know they will treat you just like they have treated me and you will be very happy...trust me!!!!

Great customer service! Tons of options to choose from. Recommend to all my clients. And I personally had a great experience with them with communication, flexibility! If you are looking to invest in a golf cart, this is definitely the place to get it!
