We rented 2 electric golf carts to help our wedding guests travel between campsites and our wedding reception over a 48 hour period (covering 2 nights). Their price was reasonable, the golf carts showed up on time and were picked up on time, and were in good condition. Only one had headlights, which was a little tricky at night, but not a big deal at all. Unfortunately, we were not given any chargers, and so were only able to use them for half of the time we rented them until they ran out of charge. When we called to asked how to charge them, we were rudely told that we weren't provided a charger because it takes 8-hours to fully charge them and that we were just "joy riding" them too much. Which doesn't make sense, because our guests were only using them to travel between their campsites and the main lodge (a ~.5 to 1 mile trip), which is what we rented them for. This was unfortunate, because we easily could have plugged them in each night with a charger, and without golf carts it left our guests stranded and required us to come up with some last minute car shuttles that were not ideal. So, despite paying for a certain time period of use, it actually turns out we only purchased a single charge for each cart worth of use. We would recommend looking elsewhere for rentals.

One year warranty, not even used for a year, took the cart to my local dealer and he said more than one battery needed to be replaced. Joe blamed me for the problem. I’ll never go through Joe again and wish I hadn’t. I’m sure others have had the same issues through him.
