Check existing equipment before ordering
The current 2026 i40X page lists signal mirrors, backup camera, four three-point restraints, 10.1-inch display, SoundExtreme soundbar, CarPlay/Android Auto and pre-wired 12V switches. Inspect the delivered cart before duplicating those items. A pre-wired switch doesn't mean spare electrical capacity or an approved new circuit.
ICON’s FAQ distinguishes dealer-adjustable ICON X suspension from structurally different lifted/non-lifted frames on 2025-and-earlier models. Don't assume every mat, roof or bracket interchanges. Send the seller the model plate, year and photographs of the proposed mounting area.

Prices are for these sellers and variants, before tax. Neither checked Xtreme list names ICON X. The two-row set is not complete three-row i60 coverage, and the front mat is not a substitute for the i40F’s second row.
Xtreme places the front clips under the factory floor at the dash, with the short arm over the overlay edge. Follow the supplied instructions and check pedal movement and retention before use. Do not alter a mat to force it around the pedals or interpret a successful stationary fit as tested retention on rough ground.
Cost comparison: for a compatible legacy i40L, the selected $117 front mat plus $132.19 flare set totals $249.19 before tax and delivery. At a chosen $300 parts budget, that leaves $50.81 for delivery or other costs. For the named i60L two-row layout, substituting the $155 set yields $287.19, leaving $12.81 and still excluding rear-facing-row coverage. A shared brand name does not make the cheaper basket equivalent.
A real i60L build
In the November 7, 2023 “Custom Build #1” thread, CriticismNo8898 describes a stock ICON i60L customized for their work: heated pads beneath custom upholstery, garage-made customer-requested steps, a floor mat, lighting and a soundbar/subwoofer system with fused distribution. They identify the soundbar as SE28 and subwoofer as ES08.
The self-reported project illustrates why custom steps and powered accessories require details beyond an “ICON compatible” title, such as bracket dimensions, step load rating, circuit capacity and retention. Don't treat it as a wiring diagram or an i40X fit guide.
Portable mounts and covers still need a fit check
For a phone or mirror mount, check the actual attachment surface, tube dimensions, device width with its case, release clearance and sightline. Magnetic mounting needs a suitable ferromagnetic surface. Use the exact maker instructions and stop using a mount that shifts.
For a storage cover, measure bumper-to-rear-accessory length, widest point and ground-to-roof height. Include a lift, extended roof and cargo carrier. A parked cover should not be used while driving. A track or hinged enclosure needs a separate roof/support fit check and unobstructed controls, passenger access and visibility. See the cover guide and enclosure guide.
A receiver’s size is not a towing rating. Obtain the cart’s permitted load, the installed receiver’s tongue/tow limits and the carrier’s limit before using a loaded rack or trailer. Passengers and installed accessories consume vehicle capacity too. An unlisted rating cannot be filled in with another brand’s number.
Warranty wording and electrical work
As checked October 10, ICON’s FAQ warns that accessory-caused failures can affect related repairs, cautions against improper electrical work and says a non-ECO lithium installation voids its warranty. That is ICON’s stated policy.
The FTC’s consumer warranty guidance explains that required-brand parts or services conditions are limited unless provided free or supported by an FTC waiver. Keep the applicable written warranty, part instructions and installer invoice, and obtain a written explanation of any claimed exclusion.
Before hardwired audio, heating or lighting, have a qualified installer identify supply voltage, spare circuit capacity, fuse protection, wire size and mounting clearance. Do not connect a 12V accessory straight to the traction pack or tap a single battery in a series pack. Review the accessory wiring guide with the installer.
Buy for the unmet use need: weather protection for exposure, a suitable holder for a device, or a rated cargo solution for the intended load. Keep road-required lights, mirrors and restraints functioning while adding accessories.
